Where metal roofs fail
Metal panels last a long time. What fails is everything that holds them together: fasteners back out and the washers crack, lap seams open up as the panels expand and contract, and rust starts wherever the finish has worn through. That's where the leaks come from, and that's what a metal roof restoration fixes.
What we do
- Clean and treat rust. Power wash, treat surface rust, and replace any panels that are rusted through.
- Seal every fastener and seam. Each screw head is coated, and every lap seam and penetration is reinforced with fabric and seam sealant.
- Coat the whole roof. A fluid-applied elastomeric coating system covers the roof in a seamless, reflective, waterproof layer.
- Warranty it. Manufacturer warranties up to 20 years are available on most metal roof systems.
Also: new metal roofs
If the panels themselves are done, we install new metal roofing on commercial and agricultural buildings. We'll tell you plainly which one your roof needs.
WHY BUILDING OWNERS CHOOSE BOTHUN ROOFING & COATINGS
